LASMA-LR Electronics Portrait

The LASMA-LR electronics module developed and built by University of Bern provides full control over the operation of the mass spectrometer and, also provides power to all IT units of the instrument. The module features the

• front-end, high voltage and low voltage supplies to operate the hardware
• power system (DC/DC converter and inrush current limiter) compliant with spacecraft requirements
• communication interface compliant with spacecraft requirements
• microcontroller system to operate the low voltage power supplies
• on-board housekeeping data processing and recording system, command and telemetry
